Default New Tmaxx 2.5 Head Problem Help

I am a newbie to Nitro's and recently purchased the Tmaxx 2.5 and it is a blast, but as always newbies will run into trouble...lol... The problem I have is after taking out the glow plug for after run I tried putting it back in and now it will not thread properly. So it looks like the threads are tring to crossthread on it now.

Anyone had this problem or any suggestions on fixing this problem???

I know it is probably too soon to get a new factory head for these new 2.5's from Traxxs. Is there any aftermarket heads to use as a replacement here?

Any help would greatly be appreciated...

These seem to come highly recommended. They're called mini fridge. Just click on the traxxass 2.5 link and it'll show you the product and pricing.

Good Luck!

Yes...it seems a little pricey.....but another guy posted that he has dropped his temps by nearly 50 degrees using the mini fridge. I guess seeing is "proof in the pudding".

Here's another site with heads. It loads slowly so be patient. It looks like the replacement head for the 2.5.

Default tap

you can most likely get a tap, the same size as the plug, and clean out the threads. Yeah that is a bit high, but if you can't tap it........pay the man sam!
