What is the best Monster Truck on the market today?? LST 2?? Savage X?? MGT?? Revo?? T-Maxx 3.3?? Hellfire?? [:-] I've seen the 3.3, LST2 and (my) Savage X in action. Im curious to know what everyone else thinks.

if there was a cut and dry answer to this, the rest wouldnt exist.

since typicly in this world money buys quality, I'd venture to say those "FG" trucks or whatever they are; something like that, like 1500$. never seen one, and Id never pay 1500$ for a truck unless it did the dishes when I was done racing it.

but down in normal land, their are no glaring price standouts. the LST2 is the most expensive, but when you factor in the radio gear, it really isnt that far out there in truck costs.

im not sure its really possible to answer this question. some mt's are good at racing while others are good at bashing. plus you cant make a perfect truck, there will always be something that could be better.
but, as im an mgt owner, i might as well vote for that.

how many times is this question going to be asked??? there isnt one that stands above the other...this is a question that can not be answered....pick the one that you like the looks of and go for it...next time please use search!!!!!!!!! this topic has been covered a thousand times.....

dustin....there isnt one that is a clear cut above the rest...the savage,,revo,,,lst..monster gt are all great...this topic is old....pick the one you like the looks of and buy it....you wont pick a bad one...

Not to be picky, but the hellfire is a truggy. But i think this qeustion will never be answered. There are only like a hundred different post on what truck is the best. Every truck has something different about them, that will make them better for different conditions. LST2 is a good runner for the best, but like what was said earlier, whatever one you own is probably your most favorite, cuz you have the most knowledge of your own truck. IMO.

actually there is one bad one i can think of right now among the bunch, and thats the warhead. i sold mine because i couldnt afford to keep it going cause it always kept breaking. other than that its pretty hard to go wrong!

You can't go wrong with a Revo or T-Maxx. I'm breaking in my new T-Maxx 3.3 and I can tell it's gonna be a blast!

I'd say choose between a Revo, T-Maxx or Savage if you already have your radio gear. If you dont have any good radio gear, an LST2 would be a good choice.

I agree that the Warhead is junk! I had one, sold it after wasting money on it, and it never was right. I got a T-Maxx 3.3 and it has been a blast to have, no problems what so ever, after almost 3 gallons through it, only 1 spur gear replaced!! It is a great Truck!!

I am wondering if any one has had as much trouble as i have with the team losi mini LST
the first week i got it the diffs went out and the servos broke and the rims cracked

speed isint that big of a deal unless you drive in parking lots...probaly T-max 3.3 is the fasted

the revo3.3 or tmaxx3.3 is the fastest (by about 1 or 2mph over the LST, and revo/maxx2.5)

LST is supposed to still be the fastest acceleration. no clear evidence of that yet.

Speed isnt a big factor in a MT, if you want torque and speed go the CEN Nemesis/Genesis with a .46ci 5hp @ 23,00.. That NX76 well blow any competition.

i liek my 3.3, i saw a nemesis at the track. it looked like a savage. My bros c .32 is faster than that nx for sure. idk why people like CEN so much

way not the genesis...i hate that thing .....its been broke for over a year and that how long iv had it....STRONG engine prehaps a bit much even for the size...but thats all i can say good for it ...now my savages are more like it ...the way i drive i need a tough truck and hpi fills the bill nicely goood bahsers...monster gt a close second...followed by t-maxx [a fun little truck] but not so tough..but i still like it...and im thinkin real hard about gettin a revo dont know a darn thing about them but they look like they can take an ***** whoopin and come out of it all right...any one want to trade for a genesis

Because it kicks ass? lol.. if you know what you are doing, Genesis simply dominates. bashing and racing. IN fact, CEN just won the US gas Champ taking TQ, 1st and 2nd with the Genesis..

For the price you paying for Revo, i rather pick up the true MT like Nemesis

The mini lst is junk. I got one and the next day it had an electrical short and burned up. I took it back and got credit for it and got a xxxt sport. AND on two seperate occasions at two different hobby shops I saw people returning theirs as well (or trying to).

the cen genesis can have the gas champs. few local tracks race it.

the LST2 is busy winning the nitro MT races with the revo in close pursuit.

the cen products are not race legal for nitro races, engine displacement is capped at .30 I believe. whatever it is, its well under cen with the .46.

torque is good, but so are RPMs, and .46 motors dont have that many. gearing can help that, true, but then your back to square one, sucking gas, and dealing with the extra weight.
