Default proper way to break in an engine

i know there are a bunch of people that have there own ways of breaking in engines and i wanted to know how you guys did it and how well it worked. i'm getting a new savage soon so i don't to screw up ANOTHER engine so i decided i would ask here. i want to know which way works best and if it gave that engine a lot of power?

Definatley heat cycling. Cover the head and drive it for 3 mins, then stop and return piston to BDC and let it cool completely. Do this for about 5-7 tanks and get temps to 200 degrees if poss. Then start tuning and your away

Take the Glow Plug out and Look in the Hole with A light,Spin the Flywheel till its at the Bottom,
Or Just Spin the flywheel by Hand and When it feels Free it's Close to BDC....

dude thats the worst way of breaking in an nitro engine, read some of fuelmans posts in that link and you will know exactly why,

heat cycling is the new modern method which has been proven to give better performing long lasting engines,
