Just a few mgt questions
I know some of you are like go do some research through the threads but i need answers, like now, deal is going through on a brand new mgt.
First off, is there any notorious problems associated with the mgt 4.6?
I know the savage has big problems with spur gears, i owned one and i went through about 12 spur gear,
Is the 4.6 finicky at all, my assosciated .15 is a piece of crap, im asking if the 4.6 is easy to tune and is not really a provlematic type of motor.
Is there anythign at all i should know about this thing, thanks josh

the major problem you'll hear about the 4.6 is the shock caps popping off on hard landings. my pull start broke after the 7th tank. but the engine was very easy to tune. i have a mach .28 on the way though.

no major problems here, not even the pull start, but you will want to locktight all the metal to metal screws (mainly the drivetrain) Also, I only had one shock cap pop off. The motor is very easy to tune also.

RE: Just a few mgt questions
The MGT has been very reliable for me. The engine is very easy to tune and has very good low end. I haven't had any problems with the pull start or shock caps. I did cut off the fake reservoirs though and I mainly use a drill to start it. I only use the pull start to restart it if I'm away from my drill. You do have to run the slipper pretty tight or you could melt a spur. Oh, and replace the brake spring with fuel tubing if you want it to stop at all.
