Hi, i am just getting into this hobby and am looking for any general advice, warnings, etc...

I am pretty set on getting the new T-maxx and was wondering which glow plugs I should use. I am asking specifically because I live in two different places throughout the year and one place gets extremely cold and the other gets extremely hot. If there is one plug that can handle such changes that would be great but I am thinking more likely I will need two different types of plugs.

Thank you, gents, for your help!

Hey SonMan....I use to live in Phoenix years ago. I did my first ski run at San Fransican Peaks in Flag. Man....that was along time ago!

As for plugs.....The TMaxx works very well with the OS #8 plug. I am currently using an OS #3 in mine and it works well....but then since the weather has been rainy and cold I haven't been able to run it for awhile. I think you'll have good luck with the OS #8.

Good Luck!

Hey thank you! I will order that Plug with my Tmaxx I also came across a snow proofing link somewhere on these forums... I'll have to be doing that soon.

I attend NAU in Flagstaff and I am currently home in Kingman (about 2 hours from there) for the Holidays. I have yet to go up on the peaks with snow on them. I think I'm going to take a snowboarding class next Fall. (If I can afford it)

Thanks again!

Default Plugs

#A3 and #8 are the same plug guys, one cost more than the other so suit yourself.
