Hi, im a newbie. But i am getting an MT this friday and im torn with what exzactly to get.. I can get the CEN Nemesis for 600 +tax, Traxxas Revo for 500 +tax, or the Savage X for 425 +tax. I think the Revo is the only one with a reverse so im going to want to add that so theres another 60 bucks or so on top of the nemmy and the savvy. Whatever i get needs to be as beginner friendly as a nitro mt possibly can be. Help me choose!!

PS... the Revo and Savage X is at my LHS, the Nemesis is about 1.5 hrs away.

The Nemesis has reverse, But i know a lot of people that have that truck that keep having probles with there engines. There to much for the truck and run super hot!

I would go with the lst2 if thay have it much stronger truck and more user frendley! 500-575 u can get one for!

The LST2 is much stronger than the Nemesis?? lmao! .... Nemi is a bad ***** truck. period. LST2 is a sweet truck but NOTTTT tougher... and I haven't heard a too many complaints about either....

..... Just pick the one that you like, stick with the major/popular brands and you'll probably be happy with whatever you get. The bottom line is, asking a question like this, you're going to get a bunch of different opinions (not all, but a lot of people are bias) and probably confuse you even more

When I was debating between getting a MGT and TNX, I made a list of the specs of the 2 trucks, and what I liked and didn't like about each one. In the end, I ended up with both trucks LOL. Between the trucks you listed, I'd say go with the Revo.

Well for me the Revo would be a great choice cause my LHS is a HUGE Traxxas fanboy... so he has TONS of Traxxas parts in stock. And the owner of the LHS is a really cool guy and im sure he would help me with any repairs. HOWEVER, the fun choice would be the CEN Genesis LE, i can get this truck for like 40 more dollars than the Revo but it would be on-line... also, my LHS doesn't sell NOTHING made by CEN so i would have to wait for all my parts ( i said nemesis origanally but i jjust like the Genesis better). I want a really good truck which i honestly think the Revo is but i like BIG TRUCKS and the makes me look at the Genesis. I know the smart choice would be the Revo but..... its kind of a smart VS want situation. Feedback appreciated...

if you want a really big truck, go with the Genesis. The parts can be optained on e-bay around 10PM EST everyday so just plan ahead for broken parts. Unless you plan on jumping off of buildings, you shouldn't have many. I only broke parts when I did something bad, like hit a tree at full speed and that was only an A-Arm.

When I was deciding on a truck, everyone said the Genesis had many problems, I still bought it becuase it was what I wanted, and I personally love the thing. So it's probably better to go with what you want, not with what most would suggest.

Genesis.. trust me.. its the best... once you drive the big truck with big power, you never want to go back to other... Nemesis doesnt have reverse but hey, it has a Airtornics MX3 FM radio, that save you $150 from upgrading the Traxxas, HPI Am radio

i would go with the one that i like the look of the most, because they are all great trucks, the all are nitro, 4WD, fast, when you think about it they dont differ to much. They all get the job done.
