Default Now I did it... I just bought Revo and MGT SE(edit: HERE w/good PICS!)

It was a GREAT deal, put pricey to buy 2 in one auction... I worked free shipping, so I basically got a $250 Revo RTR and $250 MGT SE RTR with spare wheels/tires, charger and more. I had to pay more, but that is a pretty good deal since both trucks are like new, and new this setup would go for $1000+. I can easily sell one or the other depending on which I like more for what I paid for it or maybe I will keep both, who knows.

Ebay gets me into trouble but I didn't have the will to pass this up.

So you paid $500 for both trucks and the spare parts? I would've jumped on that deal myself if i saw it.

About 6 months ago, I think I got an LST for $300 or so... I wish I could have kept my deal corner up... Maybe I should just build my own deal website... I see crazy stuff all of the time. Maybe I should write a book.

Haha! I can't wait to get a hold of em. I have seen em at LHS's for a year or two now, I am excited to wrench on em. I personally like working on them as much as running them. Sick, I know. I will pretty much pull a used car down to nuts and bolts and rebuild it before I ever run it. I have had a Hyper 7 for about 4 or 5 months that I still haven't run yet. I just finally started cleaning it and getting it back together.

now thats a quote! I want to go to take mechanics in collage, I don't know what it is but the wrenching, screwing, trying to get a part on is just fun to me. Funniest thing is when your working on your truck and you find blood on it, relizing you cut yourself. hehe i did that installed the new washer/e-clip on my warhead.

Good deal. I saw that one on eBay. I was looking for a Revo for parts an thought "I could sell the MGT and get my parts for a good price." Problem is, I know myself too well. I would've been looking for MGT hop-up instead of selling it.

They have been on Ebay for over a year with 100% feedback on 12 auctions. The communication has been good. (knock on wood), I have never had a single ebay auction go awry on either side with over 170 auctions in 5 years.

That's not luck either, just experience and risk management. I would like to quote President Bush here, I use good 'Strategery'

I got sneaky. I emailed him and offered his reserve. He agreed and ended the auction early after I bid his reserve.

The Revo is a 2.5.

4 days since auction end and not a single word from the seller yet... That's ok. I don't start worrying until a week goes by, then I start getting nasty. They probably mailed the trucks out and haven't emailed the tracking info yet. It's good to keep a positive attitude.

I have buyer protection from my cc, ebay and paypal so I am not worried.

Don't sweat it.

I won 17 auctions from Debbie's RC world and it took almost 2 weeks to get my stuff.[X(]

I called them and asked them if I could get a tracking number and the guy says "OMG, you don't have it yet? That stuff should have went out a week and a half ago. You should have had it in 2 days."

Someone goofed and the stuff never went out. He shipped it overnight and it was waiting on me when I got home today. He even threw in a handful of goodies. (various keychains-tools-etc)

Sometimes stuff happens, but most people on eBay make it right.
