I have a savage with a mach26 and a 3 speed, i just bought the 8.5 inch jumbo kong tires and my truck is a lot slower ans doesnt have the power that it use to. Im thinkin about getting a new engine and i need something very powerful. I could really use some suggestions on the most powerful engine.

Hot Mods Nova528. NO question in my book. It's the devil incarnated as an engine, and it's the only motor you'll ever read about people actually taking out of a truck because it's too powerfull. That alone says alot.
Look here http://www.truggyracers.com/forum/in...showtopic=7411 it's a thread anout getting a 528xr modded or not. They all say no, for a reason
From slrguy in above thread:

From slrguy in above thread:
I haven't tried the modded version but I can tell you that the 528 8 port is the most powerful motor I've ever tested. It completely blows away everything else in the truggy classs including all the .32 engines. I don't know why you'd want a modded version as the stock version has so much power that you'll be struggling to get it to the ground.
I ran a 528 hotmod in april, sold it in May. The CRT could not put it to use and it blew tires apart. I run a RB 928 and a C6 BB now and they are much easier to use but they both seem so slow since iv'e taisted the blood of the vampire. I think I will end up with another one some day. They get great run time cause all your doing is blipping the throttle and coasting for forty feet. You have to time it just right so you have enough speed to finish a turn cause if you hit the throttle in a corner your tires are up in smoke (er dirt) This is with a 17 tooth clutch bell!

Hey Roscco,
Great thread there you found from Truggy Racers, I knew the Novarossi was powerful, but not like these guys are describing it. I also agree with you that the Novarossi is the most powerful engine, and after looking at that thread, who wouldn't? Nice find, it really helps me out!

I've never seen one of these run, however i don't remember ever reading anything bad either. Looks to be excellent power for the price.
