Default T-MAX stalling

Hi everyone, I just purchased a T-MAX 2.5 RTR and it seems to have a stalling problem. I can run it in an open area and its not bad but if I run on a track where you can't open it up it will do ok sometimes but as it runs longer it seems to be loading up with fuel. This is a new experience for me and I'm enjoying my new truck. I just need to figure these adjustments out. I also live in central Florida. Thanks for the help. Tony. T-MAX very durable also

Make sure you view the DVD that came with your truck. It does sound like your little rich but only you can tell.

There is a section of the DVD that tells you how to tune your engine.

CHECK YOUR GLOW PLUG TOO, MINE LASTED ABOUT 5 MIN. BEFORE IT STARTED GOING BAD.

yunt2chat......Be sure to check the carb settings. If your running on the rich side.....that is where you want to be.....especially for the engine break in. If your already past the engine break in and your still running extremely rich.....then you will want to lean it a little at a time.....1/8 turn on the high speed needle....then try some high speed runs. BE SURE YOUR ENGINE IS FULLY WARMED UP.....before you try and change the needle settings. Look in your manual for the directions on making the carb adjustments.

As was mentioned.....also check your glow plug and make sure it's not going bad. Take it out and place the glow igniter on it and look at it to be sure the element is glowing......if it's questionable....then put a new glow plug in.

Good Luck!

I got a new Tmaxx 2.5 in December and it came with a DVD. Shows everything in the manual plus breakin and tuning stuff.
