Please can you pull your knowledge together for me. I can import a t-maxx 2.5 from the us for around £330.00 delivered with tax payed. I would much prefer to purchase from the UK but the cheapest I have found them for is £400.00. They seem to be price fixed in the uk.

Does europe offer any cheaper options.

Purchase a NEW on off of eBay. Tell the seller to mark it as a gift when he is shipping it. This does one of two things.

1 gets it through customs quicker and
2 NO TAX!

Since one pound is equal to about a $1.50 you will actually get a pretty good deal on it. Also have it sent via United States Postal Service. They are cheaper that UPS, FedEx, Etc.

i ship stuff to China a lot, have never had tax problems.

i think shipping one or two items wont have to pay tax
