Default Question about 70 tooth spur gear

I know the regualr spur gear for the T-Maxx is a 72 tooth. I wanted to know if you could use the 70 tooth one instead of the 72 tooth. The 70 tooth gear I am refering to is being sold for T-Maxx so I think it will be ok
Thanks and this is the only gear my LHS has so I think I am going to get it

It will work, but your gonna loose a little bottom end power due to gearing being taller.

But will be better than nothing. Make sure you mesh them right
