I'm not racing , but want to get the best setup I can ... But not at any price ... I don't want to spend $150 a pack .. ,,, but I won't mind spending $75+ a pack If its going to make a noticable difference in performance over a set of $20 a pack batteries ...
Battery and Charger question What charger should I be looking at .. $100+ range I think will get me a good dual charger ...
Where should I buy the batteries and charger from ... My LHS doesn't have 7cell packs that will fit correctly in the Emaxx ... I used [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180040034285&category=34063]this[/link] charger and always ran GP matched cells.. you can also try [link=http://stores.ebay.com/rcMAXpower-SUPER-STORE]here[/link] for a good deal on batteries, I'd go with 3800's or better..
That charger is great if you're just bashing, plug 2 packs in and push the button, simple.. packs are ready in 15-20 minutes[sm=thumbup.gif] it automatically senses when the packs are peaked and the lights blink, trickle charges after that.

Cool Thanks ..I just bought two sets of 4200 wc's from Boom Boom Batteries ... Now Ill need a Charger ... I was looking at a ICE and a MRC I think it was called .... I want it beable to be used as DC or AC/DC I understand that a DC charger can easly be used as a AC/DC with a power suppy .... It needs to have discharge and peak power detection ... and be a dual charger ...

the one I posted doesn't discharge, but it does have that other stuff including AC/DC..
DuraTrax Intellipeak ICE is a great charger, spendy though.. It has a ton of features, well worth the $$ IMO

Nope, only 1 at a time with the ICE charger.
I use 2 [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCLD5&P=ML]DTX digital chargers[/link] to charge all of my stuff. They are cheap enough and work well.
I like the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLCJ6&P=ML]MRC Super Brain 977 charger[/link]. It will charge almost any type of battery, 2 packs at a time.
I use Venom 3000 packs with good success. I tried a set of 3600 packs and didn't really notice a performance difference, just slightly longer runtime.
