So far so good, waiting on heat resisting coupler and it will be ready to rock... I might just put the stock pipe from the savage on it to test run it. It will just stick straight out of the rear... If the rain stops I will try it tonight.

I am also starting to look for a 2 speed trans for it.. I don't think I am going to get the speed that I am looking for with the original trans.... I will have to think about that one.. but anything is possible.

Yeah single speed is not so good.....and it looks like the bell can only go up to 19T....
Btw how did you set up you brakes or are you still using reverse. Mine practically do nothing so I thought it might be my set up, would like to hear about yours.
The pics!! the PicSS!!! How's the tranny holding up has it blown?

I took out reverse, and set the brake up like the manual says. Really doesn't do anything, well doesn't stop it. I sent the pics to your email address, if you didn't recieve them give me your email and i'll send them again. The trans seems to be holding up so far.. Maybe someone will make a 3 speed for the Savage. Then I would just put the 2 speed in the MF. hmmm that would be cool...

Cool......the torque must be incredible considering the low gearing of the MF. will it wheelie? How's the performance?

hey cookmi1,
I just got the mega force and want to up the engine to big block.
so far nothing you've gone thru has scared me away from the mod. Can you shoot me some pics also for ref? also, can you advise me on any engine prefs that would be wise to stick with? Looks like rear exhaust is workable thats goodbecause thats what I'm seeing most avail out there now. Is the engine going to dictate weather or not I'll be able to get a 2 or 3 speed tranny in the mf? thanks for any help with this project bud.

Very confused. The reason there is a big difference is because there is a big difference in RCs.

Mega force is not the Mad Force, but the mad force is the same as the Mad Armour, just different bodies. Remember Mad is better than Mega. The "Force" is the end of the name, you need to remember the first part (Mad or Mega).

Some folks are getting confused the MegaForce isn't in the same league with the Savage and T-Maxx, but the Mad Force/Mad Armour is.

Default Savage SS

you should get a savage ss because it goes a lot faster and the terra chrusher is way to exspensive but the savage ss is a kit and you still need to buy the radio so it will come to about $450.00 the terra crsher is big
