What did you buy yourself for the holidays??
Trying to be politically correct, I almost got in trouble for saying were having a Christmas party at the center I run. I guess I understand. For the good bad or ugly I purchased the tower terror. Now before you say anything bad. Im probabally going to use a starter box. I don't plan on starting it in 40 or below weather, because big blocks are hell on recoil starters anyways when brand new and not broken in. I knew i would get it as soon as I first saw it.
Tower's ad works, the power of suggestion!! Gasp at big block motor. Sounds kinda of like how i feel when i get my credit card bill!!
happy holidays

Selling the wheels/tires, engine, and other bits - so not as huge an investment as it may at first seem.. Still got an Axial 28 and other stuff I originally got for the X RTR which I sold..
Started putting it together last night - we'll see how it goes...

Oh that looks like fun! There's nothing like sitting and building a car with a little drinkie and maybe something on the TV at the same time.
Maybe I need to pick up a kit for the weekend

Currently, I'm in the process of selling my Mammoth ST and I think I may treat myself to a Mugen MBX5T Prosepc after the holidays to muster up some money. I really hope this all goes through, happy holidays everybody!

I built another revo out of all the parts i replaced on my first one.

He thinks its for him but really i just want someone to drive with so it works out.

Never had the urge to build my own rc truck from a kit, but i've been saying for years Im going to by myself a old yamaha xs 650 special and convert to a streettracker. they look alot like the harely xr 750 dirttrrackers only street leagal. I just need to stop buying rc cars first, or possibably a later model chevy s-10 pickup, buy one with a junk motor, drop a hot small block in it, a nice paint job and maybe feed her some laughing gas!!! for extra ponies

RE: What did you buy yourself for the holidays??
I got myself alot of happiness. Seeing my kids and wife open thier presents is all I need for Chritmas. I dont expect to get anything and Im content with that. As long as my family is happy thats all I care about. I did get my sons each RC stuff. My youngest a body for his 1991 issued MRC Thunder King Nitro and my oldest son is getting a vintage but never run 1989 issued Kyosho Rampage AR10 Nitro Buggy. Parts are not a problem. There is a LHS 7 miles away that has alot of the parts for both still instock.[sm=thumbs_up.gif]
My folks asked what I wanted, I told them just a gift card for one of the local Hobby Shops. I need tires for my Ofna LX Comp, and a axle carrier for my 4tec.

RE: What did you buy yourself for the holidays??
Well the hobby shop I work at just gave me my X-mas bonus
They said I could pick something in the store.
I already have a bunch of car stuff so i picked something different.
The Blade CX2
It is so much fun.
I drive the revos during the day then at night i fly the heli around the house.
If you have ever thought about getting a micro heli, you need to get the blade cx2.
It is $200 if you get the extra training gear, worth every penny.
