madforce 3 speed

Default madforce 3 speed

i just got a madforce for my b day and i only hear it shifthing 2 times. i figure since it is a 3 speed that it wiil shift 3 times but it dosnt . any suggestions

first shifting will get to the second gear.

second shifting will get to third gear.

savage has 2 speed tranny so only one shifting.


your madforce has 3 speed so it should only shift twice

Hehe..
ITs easy to miss that.. its running on first gear to start with.. so you dont "hear" it shift for the first time!
Let us know how it works! I'm really interested to know

I wonder if a CVT setu is poossible

CVT= Continuously Variable Transmission

In its simplest for.. it can be two conic high pressure clutches varying the pitch at which they meet and thereby changing the gear ration in infinitely small amounts

They are great for times when you want to keep the engine in its narrow powerband.

Nah Landshark has it right.It shifts from 1st to 2nd,then 2nd to 3rd.
Two shifts.3 gears.
