I killed 2 glow plugs, not new ones, in the last week or so when I ran my truck out of fuel. Is that a common killer of glow plugs, running out of fuel?
Also what plugs do folks recommend for a LRP Spec 3?
I was under the belief that big blocks like cooler plugs then small blocks?
Is there a comparison on the net of the different manufacturers plugs? How does one compare an OS plug to an Odonnel, etc?
Thanks,
Scott

If you run out of fuel at a fairly high rpm it can kill the glow plugs, it usually don't if it is idling. I run an OS #8 in my LRP spec 3.

Thanks for the link dude, I appreciate the response....
I swapped in a brandy new Odonnel plug and it has been fine. Maybe the 2 that died was coincidence.....
Thanks again,
Scott
