I have had both, and do have the e-savage currently. It's a much better performer in my opinion. Faster, Tougher...its just better than the e-maxx stock. Now the e-maxx has the best after market support bar-none. The e-savage will have some more aftermarket support coming. My 2 cents.

I have heard that traxxas will be doing the "re-do" they have been doing to their electric and some nitro r/c´s, so if your going with the e-maxx you should wait for the new version to go out.

Its an old vid and it was with my web cam. I broke one of my motors byu putting it in an old wall world boat but it sunk![:@] The truck in the vid was only running one motor at the time but both 7.2's were connceted. the only thing that broke was a battery plug. Its an E-zilla/E-savage.

Witness the power of a stock e-savage. I have both an E-maxx and an E-savage. Go E-savage, don't even think about the E-maxx. Veritable money pit.

I have an E-maxx and my only disappointment was the stock ESC. After seeing an E-savage, I would get it over the E-maxx. It comes with 2 batteries and a dual charger as well. Not to mention it's faster out of the box than an E-maxx. But I'm sure you would have fun with either truck.

Here is mine all put back together. One of the brushes crapped out so while i replaced the motors, i figured I would take it all apart and do some changes (diff fluid, shock fluid, spring, tires, wheels, etc..)
