I am looking to buy my first nitro truck having owned electric buggies since the 80's. On my list so far are the Traxxas revo 3.3 and the HPI Savage X. What else should I consider?

if i were you, i'd get the revo. i love mine. it's an awesome machine right out of the box.

the mgt is a good truck and $150 cheaper then the revo. revo, savage, mgt and the aftershock are good rtr trucks

DEFINATELY consider the GST 7.7, it's an AWESOME truck. I have a Savage SS 4.6 also but i'm selling it on e-bay right now because i never drive it. Savages are good trucks but if your gettting an X you might as well get an older SS or the new X SS.

Also look into the LST2, supposed to be another great truck, i'm SO CLOSE to pulling the trigger and buying one, not sure what i want to do yet, if i buy another truck it will be the LST2 though!
