Default MGT Tranny No Go

Anyone know whay could be causing my MGT to not go?

When engine running I apply throttle; the clutch bell and spur gear spin but the out put shaft/cups do not spin.

I took my tranny apart to inspect for frays or stripped gears but found none.

If need be I can post pictures.

Any ideas?

Well I know this probably isn't it but make sure you had your slipper tightened down. I know I have forgotten to do that once. Also check and make sure that the pins are not are not sheared off on a couple of the shafts in the tranny. Only other thing I cant think of right now is possible bad One Way Hub..... http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFTY4&P=7

If you still have it apart just spin that gear that it goes in ..... its part number 25012 in the manual on page 15. If it grabs going one way then not the other it pry is still good.

That sounds interesting because about 2 tanks before it stopped working completely, it wouldn't shift in to 2nd... it still wont... of course

Damaged 1-way bearing or a snapped main shaft... Both have happened to me with the same results!
