Project Monster Force
The Dreams Are Starting!
I can't take it know more, Chronic, Dale, Be ready I'm starting my new project! I have been staring at my old truck for weeks, playing with ideas, day dreaming about it, spending hours online researching on it and its driving me nuts! I may not have the tools like you guys have but if there's a will there's a way!
I call it Monster Force!
I'm gonna need both of your guys help with this, and as well as the rest of RCU!
The fist step is do clean her to see wat we got to work with!

RE: The Dreams Are Starting!
well its rough to look at but here she is, i did a small cleaning, I'm gonna do heavy clean tomorrow.
Oh and who needs brakes?
Tranny
I have to talk to muggy250r, but I'm hoping to use my radio from my muggy!
Those were the first hitec servos i ever owned and they still work!
After doing some searching, The first mod to the truck will be a Custom 4-link suspension!

I had to keep weights in the fron of the truck, other wise it would just sit on the wheely bar.
So does dale, or chronic wondering what will be next? Bwahahaha HAAAAAAahahaha[sm=48_48.gif]

I'll be watching this thread. I think the MF is a great truck, and you will have a really nice rig when it's done. What are you going to do about the diffs? I'm thinking about a set of the helical cut buggy gears, with a Maximizer aluminum diff cup and Hot Bodies spider and side gears made for the Savage.
I'm thinking about stretching mine and running a MRC Thunder King body(14" wheelbase) just to give it a more scale look. Move the steering servo to the front axle, install an Axial .28, and then drop it on the stock ATX tires and 420 wheels off of my LST2.

Well for the diffs, i was playin with the idea of a locked diff, but there are a few issues with that! As for the Tvp's i was thinking alum or carbon fiber, But i think that gonna go with aulm. I have an idea for the supichion. I wanted to go with a txt type but as we saw from dales it was was to floppy, but i have an idea i'm playin with that will fix that problem with just a differnt location, i will have more on that later!
As for wheels and tires, i might go with 14mm, 17mm, or 23mm, it all depends!
The motor I'm thinking about might be stock, or there were a few, STS .30v2, axial .28rr Lrp .28 Serio .30!
I'm working on a sercret servo steering!
