Default PULLING!!!

Hi guys I know this is a forum for MT but I think that this will fit but please do not get mad. Me and my dad have been watching 1/10 RC pulling tractor videos and now I can't get it out of my head. I am really big into pulling wether it is watching or doing it myself. I was hoping that someone on here could give me a few tips or instructions on how to build one of those awsome pieces of machinery. Also I was hoping to get a rough estimate on how much it would cost to build a rolling chassis, no motor or electonics. Please help, and thanks for your time. Jon

Default RE: PULLING!!!

hey jon. when u find out those answers u let me know as well. we have been looking forever for parts, as far as i know alot of them r built from ground up. yes there is a place that build chassis there name is hooter chassis. im into the 4wd part of it and they build rollers for tractors etc and of course not a 4wd. that i have found. so we meaning kandm trains and hobby have started converting our savages t-maxxes losi etc into pullers. there is a thread on here that has a pic of my savage x with the pulling adminities on it. keep in mind that in 5 min it is just a regular savage x to a fully converted puller with a weight bar and a hitch. we just opened a indoor track and we pull 1/10th scale vehicles. nitro, electric, 2 and 4 wheel drive. we r soon to have 1/10th scale drag races with the christmas tree and all. we just got the web page up there is a lil info on pulling on there u can take a peak. it will be growing very quickly. as of right now my truck happens to be the champ of my town. i pulled 43.16 lbs with a stock savage x to the 30ft mark which is a full pull. u will know my truck when u see the pics it has a blue dodge body. if u go to our web page at www.kmhobbies.com u will see the test pull i made with my homeade piece to put on my sav x. with the stock body. if u cant find the thread just let me know ill get the pics back up. any further questions feel free to ask ty kandm trains and hobby staff
