Default Cheapest 1/5 scale

Ok Where can I get the cheapest 1/5 scale R/C new and or used I will be needing 5 of them eventually. It does not need all the beefy stuff just able to climb hills not go fast. Suggestions?

how much u have, i have seen them on ebay for as cheap as 550 and on stores for 600 are u looking for realistic or just plain old 1/5th

I will probably go with peacing parts together instead cost is to high for complete 1/5 or 1/6.

Smartech makes a 1/5 or 1/6, but it's nitro powered, not gas, dunno how well that would perform being so big.. It's only about $500 though (and 2wd)..

just go with a fg there suppose to be really good.

ya, but who has an extra 1500, in there back pocket for only one, thats how much it costs to get an fg running man!

The ones online are smartech, and there about 500. heck i have seen some on there now for only 300.

If u do go with fg make sure u have about 10Grand!

next best thing is the baja,, 1 grand,, it seems good and reliable,, from what i seen,, comes with some nice pieces of polished metal as well,, if i were u i rather collect a bit more and go for a baja,,,,than go for a cheap ass truck!!

That Baja does look pretty sweet (and I'm not even a buggy fan..)... It'd be much kewler if HPI would come out with a Baja MT...[&:]
