Default Diff problem???

Ok guys i broke down my diffs to see wats up and i was shocked at wat i saw!

My diff have this brownishorange powder all over the outside of the cup, and on the in side of the housing.

Inside my diffs had grease still but on the out side its all dry, can greas dry out? it looks like rust but it never saw water? And it feels like one of my bearing is shot!

So wat do you think happend?

You need to adjust the focus when taking close up pics............Im gonna say it's just surface rust from condensation.

Those diffs are from your Losi right? The one you left out for bait? Have you ever ran through water or anything like that?
