Ive had mine for awhile now, and i havnt had any problems with it. If your motor isnt in good shape, then i could see it wearing the battery down trying to start it.....Some people dont like it. I love it.

Hit and miss for me so far.
I've had a lot of problems getting my TMaxx tuned properly. Part of this could be due to the weather, part a touchy carb. I do like the electric starter though as it has saved my arm a whole lot of pulling.
You can expect the battery to give 12-15 minutes of constant turnover time before it needs to be re-charged. Generally though if you get the engine tuned properly that should last a long time since you will only have to turn the engine over for a second or two.
My RC10GT has been much more reliable holding it's carb settings and holding a continuous idle. Generally once I get it started it stays running until either I stop it or it runs out of gas. The TMaxx has been much more sensitive and doesn't like to hold an idle all that well.
