Default Couple problems with mega force...help!

I recently got a Kyosho Mega Force, and am now having a couple minor problems with it...

1)I replaced the original steering servo with a 80 somodd torque one, its turns fine while moving but if its not moving and pick up the front end and try to turn after about 5 minutes it just wont...Is it maybe using too much battery power or something?

2)The truck is VERY nose heavy...just wondering if anyone else had this problem?...Not hard to fix just that I heard it was very nicely balanced and jumped perfect...right now mine just flips over...

they are well balanced in driving.. I dont see why your having problems, its hte first ive heard of them, and it seems like the servo doesnt have enough poewr to turn.. those are some huge wheels man.

yeah i know but the new servo i got has over twice the torque of the original one, so it should be fine...it just seems like its wearing down the batteries, cause when i first turn it on they work fine, but after like 10 minutes they barely move

as for the batteries, they're just the usual 4 sanyo Ni-cd's...as for the temperature it was rather cold that weekend but i think it was like 35 degrees

Howdy Slinger-

My Mega force has a great C.G., and I have not noticed it being nose heavy. Not sure how long you have been in to the sport or not, but mid air wheel torque is a HUGE deal with this truck because it has HUGE tires. I can literally make my truck adjust mid air where the nose is by giving her juice, or slowing her down.

If you are already aware of this phenomenon, I am not sure. If you have a cat, maybe it left a gift under the hood or something?

As far as the servo goes, I still have the stock one in here, because even with high torque, unless this truck is moving, the rubber isnt going anywhere. I will probably try something different when I trash this one, not there yet. Let us know if you figure it out, and also what you do to fix your nose diving dilemma.

Thanks!

yeah i know what you mean about the big tires..i mean i can "fly" my duratrax maximum st and thats got tiny tires compared to these...i may have hit the brakes...i dont know, it was the first run of the truck and i didnt wanna kill it...so i prolly hit the brakes...i'll let you know if i find anything out though
