best first truck???
hi my name is justin and was just wondering what the best gas first truck would be for a starter like me...
i am also trying to stay under the 400$ range..... Thanks ,justin

By gas I hope you mean nitro... I would go with the savage X or savage X 4.6... hobbypeople had the savy X on sale for $400 RECENTLY, i have one, it is well worth it... I have spent money on cars like the jato, but they are just too easy to break. GO WITH THE SAVAGE!!!

the jato isnt to easy to break lol hes mine............ i was down a 4 lane road infront of my complex and well this happened........... lol but i have new ones on the way

For $400 range, a Monster GT, Aftershock, or Savage would be a good choice. I've got a pair or MGTs and they have been very tough bashing trucks. If you want to pick up parts locally, though, the Savage is probably the way to go. Most hobby shops seem to have a good stock of Savage parts, but limited on the MGT.

the tnx is 500 so how is that under 400? if your going to raise the buget you might as well raise it another 80 bucks and get a lst2

perfect for that price range is clearly the MGT. it's a great basher and a proven winner on the track. you dont see many savages winning races. the MGT is 100 times easier to work on as well.

Yeah" Your right, His best bet would be the savage x or mgt!!!!![sm=thumbup.gif] OOPS I almost for got to mention the aftershock, that to is under $400.
