I am seeing alot of videos now were people are landing backflips. What is the teqnique for doing this? do you just nail the gas and hope it flips fast enough? or what? thanks, drew

Default Yup......

For the most part, you have to learn to modulate the throttle depending on the height you get off the jump. Learning to adjust the attitiude of the truck in the air isnt the easiest thing.

I found the best way to do it with my maxx is
1st have the right jump somethin you really have to correct off when your in the air.
2nd hit it hard and fast don't let off until your truck is at or passed 90 degrees and let off the gas all together.
3rd hope you got lots of air to correct for the landing, correct as needed.
4th Im wasting all my time writing this becuase trial and error is very best advice how can anyone tell ya how its a split second reaction. I would bet that most people who've done them didn't try the first one it just happened. Like it did to me and i was hocked until i landed it clean. Just go out and jump dont let off the gas and see what works for you. Have some extra bucks, I broke aluminum shock towers when i learned.

i've landed a backflip, but it was not off of a ramp

i ran my truck up a tree and im guessin since i kept the throttle full, the rear tires gave the truck enough kick to land square on the tires

i tried with mp and it just landed on the body post and rode a wheelie for a while before i slammed on the brakes. I might try it off a higher jump if my truck is ever not broken.
