I think you will get about 10 different answers to this one lol. I'm really happy with my Axial spec 1, Great power for the price.

You are fixing? Whats broken?

I would say the most powerful engine for a Revo would be a .28ci big block engine, like an STS D28M, a Novarossi 528, LRP .28 Spec3, and so forth. There is someone in the Traxxas forum who mounted a D30M (.30ci!) onto a Revo!

Of course, you will need a Revo big block engine mount kit to even put a big block into it.

If you just want to drop it in and go I would say either the RB Concepts TM523 (my fave) or the OFNA Picco .26MAXX .

Big block motors .... where do you start ? Lots of high output mills on the market today that would be more than enough in a REVO . But youre gonna have to upgrade the drivetrain or else youre gonna start stripping gears or twisting the driveshaft yokes from the extra torque . Robinson Racing makes a really nice hardened steel gear set for the REVO/TMAXX tranny that will make it bulletproof .

Me and my son both run OS .18TM's in our REVO's and his will wheelie on command , mine has the C/D , rear brake kit on it so no wheelies for me .....

without spending a lot of money on the drive train, the RB TM523 or the picco .26 max are the top two choices, if money is no object the sky is the limit, i have seen a few revo with STS D30M engines in them, freeze runs a revo with an modded novarossi 528 (probably the most powerful .28 engine there is), if money is no object the only limiting factor is how drivable you can make the truck.

I'd say an EB Modded 528x like freez's would be one of the meanest engines to put in a Revo... that thing is just STOOPID fast. If I blow the Mach 427 in my LST2... I'll be seriously considering one...

O.S. 18TM Is Most Like What I'll Go With Eventually. I Have Had Good Experience With O.S. Plane Engines. I I Like The Fact That It Drops Right In, Plus The Price Seems Right.
