Like this?
Like stated already, just balloon the electronics... I also used water resistant grease for the servos - can't think of the brand name, been a while.. it's for waterproofing electronics though, and I got it at the auto parts store..
edit... just looked it up, it's Dielectric grease

Yeah, water can be dangerous for a truck... but, if you protect it... you're generally OK...
My LST2 was unprotected when I drowned it in 8-10" of muddy water...
BUT, everything seems to be OK...

You could also use plasti dip and dip the servos in it then cutt out the gear where the horn goes on put some grease on it and off you go!! Google waterproofing servos or electronics you should find a link!!

The Dielectric grease works great for the area around the gear, I've driven in wet conditions quite a few times and haven't had any issues with the electronics...
You can also use a sandwich bag for the receiver, then tightly rubber band the end (or zip tie it).. that's what I was using when the pics above were taken, I doubled up 2 bags..
