There are so many topics abt what truck is the best. This is a thread that we will finally determine what truck is truely the best MT!


LST2....good motor and radio. 2 days running mine and my spindle and carrier broke! and it was semi bashing , athough it is probably the best MT in the handling category!
cons: no chrome wheels and the body is kinda toyish looking and durability is a question mark!?


Savage: looks awesome out of the box and u can upgrade it with many parts..and it can take a beating . Its just better built than any other MT out there

Cons: not as fast as some others , unless u upgrade it with a 3 speed transmission and maybe a better engine and the radio is not good.;This truck is abt bashing not racing so its irrelavant!

However, it does good wheelies that my LST2 cant do!

revo 3.3....good racing truck , I dunno too much abt this truck , maybe someone can tell the pros and cons on this baby. Although its not really a 1/9 scale!

Here, let me start...
Another useless "what's the best" thread.

There is no "BEST" MT.

Since there is no objective way to rate the trucks anything else is based on opinion. And opinions vary from person to person and what each of them wants the truck to be/do.

You can list your opinion of pros and cons all you want (though even that's been done before) but my opinion of what is a pro and what is a con will be different and thus my opinion of "best" will be different.

what exactly is the point of this thread?to settle what is the best"MT"out there?not gonna happen because the best is a matter of "OPINION",its an unrealistic concept,to TRY and decide whats the best MT on the market in a forum setting.i personally own 4 different brands,andthey all excell in different areas,but to try and decide which is the best,cant,wont.but i can pick my favorite,THE REVO.

I want to know the best MT out there. I need to know and many noobs/beginners here probably want to know too before they decide on a MT. Lets all get along and lets decide what MT is truely the king of the dirt track! Its for the beginners starting to gettn into this hoddy, so do it for them. And...remember , u guys were once noobs!

Let me tell you what the best MT is.. The best Mt is the one you can afford to buy... Everyone who runs a different Mt is gonna think they have the best.. I have 3 Revos, RC10 gt2, and a Raze buggy and I think they are the best. My cuz and one of my buds have T-Maxx's and they think they are the best. It just boils down to if you like it its all that matters. There is realy no better truck or car they all have there good points and bad points.

There are many good MT's, there is no best MT, period, end of story.

IMHO there IS one best MT, and it's the LST2. Big, fast, great handling, and what has surprised me - really quite tough. Throw in a good quality radio, and to me anyway it's becoming clearer and clearer.

And yes I know better than to respond to such posts, but I'm bored.

Oh yes, absolutely - lets throw logic and reason right out the window. As someone already tried to explain to you, there are no subjective criteria in which to form a hypothosis on, only objective. It's like asking: "what's the best breakfast cereal?" There is no one answer that can satisfy everyone.

people are right about the no best monster truck, but you do have your better ones. So what I did is bought the 3 that are on almost every ones list mgt LST2 and savage X. I might get a revo next but that's down the road some.

+1... I think that post ended it all.

I used to think there was a "Best MT"... then, 2DMaxLST visited... and I saw the LST2... and was very impressed. I met a friend with a MGT... wasn't impressed, but there are people on here that swear by them. The fact is... the reason these threads come up so often and cause flame wars is because all the major ones are so close together as far as how good they are... there are so many followers for every truck.

Although you won't accept there is no best MT... it's the truth. There is no definitive way to compare the trucks without allowing opinion to step in. Once opinions come into play... it's no longer definitive. Sorry cleek, there truly is no best MT... for all the noobs... do what I did... instead of starting a billion "which is better" or "what is the best.." or... "what should I get" threads... go to your LHS... look at what they have in stock... compare them, see what you like and don't like.... come here... read the forums... find the problems with each one... and make a judgement based on that.

if you skulls still to thick to accept that there is no best then its time for a change. its the same with everything...no matter how good one is and how bad the other is, you wont satify everyone...and yes i know somethings spelled wrong i think

1. You think it's cool
2. you think it's durable enough.
3. it's yours and you love it
3.5 if you like it it's the best one!

see it's all about you the owner of the truck. i would say my savage is the best one! but thats just cos i like it
it might be the yuckiest truck in the world for somebody else.
i bought the savage cos i think it's the best!
