its because thats the thunder tiger model, the US model is the AE mini MGT, which is to be released in a few weeks, thunder tiger own associated, and as associated is alot more popular and more readily accesible in the US, they market it under AE

There basically the same truck, but AE markets it as 1/10th, and thunder tiger as 1/12, also thunder tigers dimensions are smaller than the Mini MGT, so saying that, the AE MMGT might be a bit larger, but i dont see why they would do that, and just upsize it a little, it would mean they would have to manufacture basically twice the ammount of parts for basically the same truck. A well, once the MMGT is released we will know for sure if they are the same dimensions

I would like to see some more pics of this truck. If you have a camera ozzie-crawl, could you post some pics, maybe next to some other rc for size comparison?

the Z18S is basically the same motor as the OS18CVRX, they basically have the same performance, why not get a OS18TZ? It will kill anything that comes near it lol

i think alot of people will be suprised how fast the s18 is with the standard motor.the first thing i would do is change the pipe and tyres.(havent done much with it as yet trying to get my st1 race ready) i put a tuned pipe on mine .ran it down the left hand side really opens the motor up. i hope ttr will make a wing kit and a wheely bar.i think this truck has a lot of potential and wont take much to make it a good racer

get some pics of that racing machine, it sounds like you are on the right racing track, of building a nice racer.

the VG had a ABN sleeve, Nickel is alot softer than chrome plated sleeves, ie it wears away quicker, the TZ range run a chrome sleeve, so it will be just as durable as any other chrome plated motor

Also the 18TZ is only 130 US at towerhobbies, then with a discount code u can get it for 120 or less

Which tz you looking at?

i was looking at this one.
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHLV9&P=ML

cause this one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXHLW1&P=7 is bump start only, so i did not think the new mmgt could use a starter box?

Guys, for anyone looking fo s18 parts, roundabout toys have nearly all s18 parts in stock and they are very reliable and goods reach within 48 hours.

So far I have bought bell cranks from them and the knuckle hub thing. PD 8003 and PD 8075

Both parts were for 1.99. I think this is a very reasonable and fair shop providing value for money and quality service. I personally recommend them.

Thought I should share as people dont seem to be able to find s18 parts.
I must say the plastics on the s18 are a bit weak.
