Default Check out my Duratrax Warhead. Got Pics

I had my warhead (not Evo Warhead) for 2 months now since i bought, but only played with it twice. Ok well over the summer i've been working on it and it turned out that i did a pretty good job to it.

Well here was what i did:

- Changed my warhead gas tank to the EVO Tank. (In Pic)
- Put A Blitz 5-Cell 1600mAh NiMH Std Hump.
- Installed a Switch Harness w/Charge Cord J.
- Installed a Ernst Charge Receptacle Futaba J FM (In Pic)
- Put a Silicone Switch Cover. (In Pic)
- Duratrax failsafe unit installed. (In Pic)
- Did the steering mod. (In Pic)
- Sealed the engine.
- Installed longer fuel lines. (In Pic)
- Installed shock socks. (In Pic)
- Painted the rims black with white on Duratrax. (In Pic)
- Customized a skid plate and painted it blue. (In Pic)
- Customized the front body with mesh panel put in the grill section and the front windshield (the hole). (In Pic)
- Installed a Durbo body klip retainer. (In Pic)
- Since i had L.E.D lights laying around i installed 4 L.E.D lights up front (2 on each side) and 2 red L.E.D lights in the back (In Pic)
- Also I have the HPI Mounted Super Mudders Tire/Ringz Wheel Shiny Chrome (In Pic)

Everyone has a problem with there super tiger engines and people are saying it overheats a lot and they tried sealing it up, but still overheats. On mine i sealed up the super tiger, but it still reaching 280 to 310 degrees.(man that hot) I mite get a new engine for it soon, but it's still running (thats because i only drove it twice since i bought it) and i'm going to try and put the nova cooling head on it and see if it will reduce the temperature at all.

Thats what everyone said about the TRX 3.3 that comes on the Revo 3.3. I have never had a problem from any of my 3.3's after I seald them. As a matter of fact I took mine apart before I ever even started my Revo and sealed it. I use Traxxas 33% Top fuel in it and I have never had the engine over heat. If I decide to go with the Warhead Evo I'll do the same with it.

Very Trick Truck...w/ all of your mods to let air in you should'nt overheat.. and remember the Duratrax mis- print-- this truck will run at 290- 300 deg. and after break in should stabilize a little lower.. unless mine is gittin' loose or sumethin'...ARE you gonna' run this or is it just a show truck? [:@] Later.... Mess

Wow, very nice work on the grill and windshield. How did you make all of those holes? The Warhead is a decent truck IMO, but the stock engine/tank/ electronics are trash....[:'(]
