Help me spend some of my money....
Ok guys I am looking at getting a T Maxx screw set, and 6v reciever batteries as my next upgrades. If you could help me in deciding this I will be truely greatful.
Skrew Kits:
Fullforce Black Oxide hex head screw kit 12.9 Grade http://www.fullforcerc.com/
Appears to be the strongest ones out there. They are the only ones I have seen that post what grade their screw are.
Twisted Motorsports Screw Kit http://www.twistedmotorsports.com/tmstmx02.htm
They look to be the Black Oxide type screws.
Renegade RC Screw Kit http://www.renegaderc.com/Merchan....=TD1002
These are stainless, but the reason I would want thes is sheer volume of screws.
I would love to hear testemonials from anyone who has any of these sets. How have they held up? Were there plenty of screws in the kit? Do you really need a ton of extra screw? Should I go for volume rather than strength? I appreciate all you input.
Second is the RX battery. I would like to get NiMH with the most capacity possible, for longer times between charging. External charge plug would be nice, but not required. Would like to keep them enclosed in a battery box. Here are the ones I am looking at.
Ballistic Batteries http://www.ballisticbatteries.com/Store_D....ge=True
I think everyone knows about this one. 5 cell 1650mah.
K-M RC http://www.k-mrc.com/
5 AA 1800mah batteries with charging jack.
Or just buy a pack and put it in myself and solder in a recharging jack.
Please let me know what you all think. Thanks again.

The screw sets are hex/allen head screws. The stock phillips head scews strip out easily, especially when compared to the hex/allen head screws.
It just makes the truck much easier to work on.
I ordered a set of stainless scews from Fastener Express (advertised on this site) and can't say anything bad about them. Plenty of screws and bolts and I've only striped one out. I do like the ease of working on the truck though. Worth ever penny...
