Hey all.. just wanting to know what the biggest, baddest, fastest engine is out right now? Will be going into an LST for bashing purposes.. cost isn't really much of a factor.. just want to be reassured i can smoke a few friends with it :P (one reason i've had the sudden rush back into this hobby) Help's appreciated, thanks
Ohh, cost is a factor, but not much.. i'd still like to know what's what and what i'm dealing with nowadays. thanks

i don't even think that CEN engine would fit into my LST >.>
I've been looking at the Nova 528.. always deep down wanted it. The LRP Spec 3 doesn't look bad either..

One of the biggest truck engines is the CEN NX-76 .46 which is in my GST right now.

New Era makes a conversion kit for a .46 http://www.neweramodels.com/item.cgi...=&part_id=2334 ..still not the best choice of mills, though. [IMO]

Anyone experienced here will tell you that the top two engines that will make anything fly are the Nova 528 or STS 30. The LRP comes close and so does the Picco .28, but, they can only come close enough

Well you either dont know how to sealor properly tune an engine cause thats all an STS needs, its no different then a Nova, only difference is its $300 cheaper. Some people will always be biased. May I ask if you've ever owned one?

Spent some $$ on some Boca bearings and replaced the rod on the STS21T right after breakin.

Rewarded with your typical STS crank failure.

I gave my last STS30 away and all my STS21T parts. They make good power but if I could have all the time and money I wasted on them back I would get a LRP Spec III, Picco P3 or go for the higher dollar Italian mills.

I still stand by STS, the cranks blowing just show how much insane RPM it puts out compared to the other .28's through .32's. I dunno how you could have such bad luck with yours... I still have to put some more fuel through mine before I shim it and I really start pushing it. Not to mention Ill be modding it as soon as I get a dremel, I love mine
Best $170 Ive ever spent on an engine/pipe combo[8D] Hopefully the new O.S. .28 wont be a turd like its big brother
