How fast will this engine make the savage? i am thinking about getting it, but my father wants to know if it is even faster than the one i currently own which is the stock one. thanks, drew

awesome and one other question. My savage is doing wheelies, and it is completely stock. Is this normal? I am going to get a vid pretty soon hopefully. it is awesome. And mine does 33 mph right out of the box on factory settings ( not leaned out one bit). I will get a pic to so you can see it is stock. thanks, drew

33MPH is normal, and so correct.

what shock oil you are using?

is your slipper clutch too tight?

Shark, do un have the hyper 8-port? it sounds like you do but not listed in your mods. I used to have the 8-port in my monster pirate, it came with that engine, but i got a new one and put that engine in my boat. It made the boat real fast. It didnt have enough low end for my 1 speed pirate. Maybe if i try the 086 pipe it will be better.

i dont have a 8 port. i just bought a xtm from ebay, the seller

will ship it to me tomorrow.

i chose xtm over 8 port for several reasons.

1. my LHS sells that engine so they should have some parts and acces.. for it.

2. Torque is more important than speed for a monster truck.

3. hyper 8 port's pull starter is so weak, you might need to have

3 spare ones.

4. xtm is easy to break in ( i am a newbie)

5. with a nova headsink, xtm might loose the "fuel frinking problem" (my nova headsink was shipped to me today, UPS)
