Default TAMIYA TNX PRO

Hi I just got a used TNX Pro off Ebay with no engine does anyone know if I order a chassis from the new 5.2r can I swap all my parts to the new chassis so I can put in a bigger engine also what parts are interchangable from old TNX to new thanks.

Yes you can put the 5.2 chassis on the older TNX. The center dogbones will swap front to rear since the trans is mounted further forward. Look into the 5.2 spur gear or doing the Revo spur gear conversion and then use either a Revo clutch and clutch bell or use a 3 shoe clutch set up like the MGT and Savage use. The steel dogbones from the 5.2 would probably handle big block power better than the plastic axles too. Most parts are interchangeable between the 2, like suspension, bulk heads, bumpers, body posts, trans, etc. Post some pictures when you can of the conversion.

Well I found all the parts I need on Jennys rcsport on ebay to convert to big block I got tranny dogbones spur chassis and clutch kit from 5.2r also a .26 sportwerks v2 so when I get it all in I will post pics of the convert.

Sounds good. That thing should move pretty good with that type of power in it.

Ya I hope so can't wait to finish to see how good it will run will keep informed and make some vids when done also hope the diffs can handle the power.
