Dale's new NIB Vintage Monster. My first RC.
Well, this is the one that started it all for me right here. This was my gateway drug when I was a kid, circa 1987 or so. This is the first kit that I built up and ran at my old hobby shop track. I had so much fun with this truck, the rest was all downhill. Even though I was out of RC for about 12-15 years, it was the memories with this truck that got me back into the hobby.
This truck met it's untimely demise when it got hit by a car that was driving too fast in my neighborhood.
I present to you, the Marui Big Bear NIB.

I've got one of those back at my parents house, along with my Tamiya Fox and Scumacher Cat XLS buggies. Awesome memories. Man Dale, you're getting quite a collection of cool stuff

I paid $250 for the NIB Big Bear. I may have paid a hair much. I paid about $25 more then what they usually go for but it was one of the best examples I have seen in quite a while.
I found it on the world's largest garage sale, aka eBay.
It's worth about 2x over it's original kit price now. It should continue to go up as the years pass. Most kits seem to reach 4-5x original kit price and then stabilize there.

I would just about kill for 2wd Electric Monsters to start up as a class again. I'd whip out my Lunchbox so fast.... I'd lose horribly but still.

i just found it lol, hey dale how much do you think a set of tires for the big bear would cost? mine are shredded
