i'm wanting to switch out the stock 15t gear for a ofna 14t. one of the techs at the local dealer said that it may require a washer stack as a shim because of the difference between the stocker and the ofna. he went on to say that the stock one has a shouldered bearing set and the ofna doesn't. i had the two grears side by side and saw the bearings being not different at all except the ofna was vented. it appeared that the spacing and machining were identical. looked to me that the ofna would slide right on and work fine. also, both gears took 10 mil bearings.

anyone worked with this in their trucks out there.?
