Default steering problems

Hi, I am having problems with my steering. my truck wont turn left and when i try it makes a whole bunch of clicking noises and sometimes gets stuck. It turns right but not so good, I put new batteries in but it didn't seem to help any. Do i need to buy a new servo. Any solutions

I'm willing to bet one of the gears inside has a few broken teeth...take it apart and check it out...

Try taking apart the steering servo and you should find broken gears. Usually the gears are pretty cheap.

you can replace the gears with a metal kit from hpi.
your better off to search for a stronger/fast metal geared servo though.
there's lots of info here on different servo's just depend on what you want.

well i went to hobbytown to get metal gears but they didnt have plastic or metal ones, so i just bought a new servo for like 12 bucks. And it works now,i'm still gonna look for metal ones.
