Default Diff????

What can I use to seal my diffs on my savage so I can use diff oil instead of grease and is it even worth the effort to do so?

I dont think you can seal the savage diffs. You are just going to have to use good ole fashion grease. I could be wrong though, but I dont think you will have any luck doing so!!

The Savage diffs come already sealed with a rubber gasket. I added some silicone sealant just for good measure.

What about the bottom that is exposed when you take the skid plate off?I haven't take the actual diff apart yet so it's good to know it's got a rubber gasket.

The diff itself is sealed. But the diff enclosure is not. You have to run a bead of silicone around the bottom where the skidplate is to seal it.
