T-Maxx vs. Savage
I have been out of the rc world for a while and am planning on getting back in with either the T-Maxx or Savage. I am looking for opinions and pros, cons of both. I have read a lot about both but am looking for a good answer from people who have first hand experience with them both. Thanks.

RE: T-Maxx vs. Savage
Welcome back. I have them both... When its running my T-maxx is great, its fast, nimble, and just plain fun, but it breaks every time I take it out. I cant even bash it half as much as my Savage or it will break into pieces and it has more than $600 in mods... My Savage on the other hand is extremely tough, it can do serious jumps and can handle anything I throw at it. I've done 20ft jumps with it, hit solid things at WOT and it just keeps going. I have around $300 in mods with a huge .30 engine and it just begs for more... The Savage with some hop ups is also pretty capable for racing. Go for the Savage, you wont regret it.. Tom.

RE: T-Maxx vs. Savage
I have the t-maxx and a revo. Both 3.3, the revo will out bash the t-maxx. The t-maxx has gone threw amount of parts, but has gone threw a good beating. Actualy it sits rite now with a broken shock, bulkhead, and skid plate. That was due to operator error though, hitting a tree. It is a fun truck and pretty easy to use as long as you know how to tune.

lol[sm=cry_smile.gif][sm=punching.gif] I have the funds to get the Savage running, but I think I'm going to re-install 6 stock shocks (gonna look wierd lol!) and wait it out until tower gets the HPI Big Bore shocks in stock... Other than that I just need a throttle arm to get the Savage running and 3 servos for the T-maxx[8D]
