The 1/6 Tornado .25 on ebay will give you speeds in excess of 80mph and jump over mountains. I definitely recommend it, nothing else will touch you on or off the track[sm=thumbup.gif]

Lol..your not going to get anywhere near 60 or 70 mph with a monster truck. The average speed is right around 40.

as we said, unless u spend 500 on a motor, get some custom gearing made, etc etc your not gonna get near 60/70mph,

Fastest MT or there abouts its 40 to 45mph and that would be a battle between the LST2 and Revo 3.3.

The only offroad trucks that will get near that speed are the jato 3.3 and the manace 4x4 .21, but then, there not that well suited to large jumps and rought terrain

there about 50mph stock, depending on what u get, u will still need to buy a nice motor and maybe get it ported and get some larger gearing to hit them speeds, buggies, trucks etc aint made for insane speed, trucks are made to roll over just about anything, and take large jumps, buggies are built for there handling and jumping.

You'll never jump going faster than MAYBE 30 without breaking stuff...

well, I think you should start looking at truggies, try the truggy forum.

Also, 60mph is a lot to ask from even a highly modified MT or truggy.

well i prefer strength over speed within MTs, i dont really care how fast it goes, cause it hardly ever touches road.

Basically your choices are revo3.3, LST2, MGT4.6. MGT8.0, savage 4.6RTR and now the new savage XL, Tmaxx 3.3 etc.

Fastest out of them would proly be a match between the 3.3 and LST2, there around the 45MPH area, i dont see why your so cought up in speed, if u want speed get a nitro or brushless onroader, of if u want speed with a little bit of offroading, get a jato 3.3

Top speed of a Savage would be more like 25-30 you're all dreaming.

You are NOT going to buy anything from a store that will get you 70mph period.

a 45 mph savage is good enough when you will get to driving it youll think differnt about it they seem alot faster then they are but youll have fun.
