Turn the transmiter off, and the receiver and open the trottle manually. Now try to roll it. If it is free, check it again with the transmiter and receiver on. If it is binding again, your brake is coming on at idle, and needs to be adjusted.

nah its not that, it binds when I move the spur gear, and its not the mesh checked it numerous times, I think in the transmission shaft the pins sheared out inside, just wondering if other people thought the same

Make sure the one way bearing is not locked on the shaft. Turn the spur gear by hand in one direction and see if the truck moves. Then spin the spur gear the other direction. One direction should make the truck move forward and the other direction will spin free and the truck tires should spin. If it does then the one way bearing is lock to the shaft. If it is then free it and replace the one way bearing. Also check that the brake is releasing the breaks. With the truck on the ground and not running use the radio and press the throttle forward and see if the truck rolls freely.

Your sure its not the brakes? I have heard of problems like yours before, and the brake was just coming on.

The top drive gear has been know to shear off the pin if the one way bearings is jamming.

I would imagine almost no resistance and no power transfer if you have a sheared pin...

Exactly, but if the brakes were on, they would release as the throttle turned up.

You know what this means. If is surgery time. Pull the tranny out and turn it by hand. If it binds open it up and look inside.

Binding is motion with resistance..Can you post a video of your issue? So the truck wont move with out the tires slipping on the floor if you push it...and the spur gear wont move AT ALL to turn the tires?
