My MGT shifts way to early (about 5 ft out) and i want to adjust it...i took the little black plug out and rotated the gear around to try to find the "black adjustment screw" I cant see it in there anywhere...am i missing something? Is it possible that my truck is in 2nd gear causing me to not see the screw?

You first need to line up the gap in the outer 2-speed hub with the hole in the transmission casing - that'll give you a straight shot at the adjustment grub screw when it's rotated properly.
