Just bought my savage yesterday. broke a gear in the steering servo today. By reading other threads it sounds like the Hitech 945 MG is the favorite upgrade replacement. Will i need to replace any other steering parts or just the servo.

Get yourself a good aftermarket servo saver. My favorite is the OFNA 10760. The original will work, just make sure you use the right adapter. The proper one is the 24 tooth thats in your spare parts bag.
