Here are some more pics.

Loving the large response tires, the feel of the new suspension with those valves, and just about everything on this truck. lol. And that pic of the gas tank, is just showing its the newer big tank. I had just taken pics of the new 17mm hubs, and my batts died. I'll charge em up right now. Enjoy the pics!

Cool, it comes with a clear body! That is a good idea. Wow... I didn't realize how sweet that truck was.

Nice, nice, nice! So is that a shelf queen or are you going to run it? Silver chassis looks nice.

Too bad they didn't make it a kit... That's about 99% RTR. For some reason I thought it was going to be more of a kit.

You can't even say that. I thought mine was close...nope. Tekno's fuel tank and RX locator was terrible, so terrible in fact I removed mine before running it. Plus it made the truck top heavy compared to the new design.

The Shocks feel fantastic...I had little hope on the new flapper it seems to fix the slow rebound problem that was typical to make a good handling compression.

I do wish it had the 5 caster clip mod...thats a bummer on a new truck it needs to go under the knife.

LOL , How do you know if you never ran it ?

I have everything the "Platinum" has on it except the shock valves . And a few things it does not .

KRO: not true bud, you have things to make it LIKE the Platinum bud. Theres a few things you would have to use 3rd party for...the reasons to buy the truck in my mind. The Radio boxes, new filter, new shocks, and most importantly a 150cc tank that fits in the stock balanced location, not up and higher than the battery.

One really nice thing about the new rx/batt box is it is very high. You aren't going to case and break it like a Tekno or the stock Revo one.

Well we each have our own opinions , I myself think the stock location for the tank is too far back and makes the trucks rear too heavy , same with the battery . I converted to a single servo and the RX box sits where the servo was .

I am hoping one of my buds gets one of these platinum REVO's so I can run against one , cause I can pretty much smoke a stock REVO on the track .

Another great thing is the Hexes...they aren't a 17mm hex per say, but do fit industry standard 17mm wheels and wrenches.

They have the flats with cuts in them...I first thought coool light weight thing. Nope the cut outs are solid to allow the wheel to hex in even more. Surface Area CITY.

That thing looks SWEET!! So whats the deal with the new shock valves?

Edit: After further drooling.. I noticed that the platinum didn't come with the new CVD's...? I thought thats what they advertised it with didn't they?

Nope, i dont remember them advertising this with the new CVD's. I just got back from a really long road trip, to the Newport aquarium. I'll get a few more pics in a bit. I've gotta get my RC8 body ready for tomorrows race first.

Yea I guess your right. I just double checked on the site. Do you think some of the aftermarket products prices are gonna go down since there useing them in the RTR vehicles? I was about to buy more turnbuckles from them but I didn't want this to happen.
