hello i need help with my genesis i got it second hand from a freind but the gearbox was broke so i paid £200 to fix it after taking it out for about 10 mins the gearbox broke again so i took it to the same shop and he said that they are prone to it because of the plastic being able to move a little bit and then the gears hack each other up firstly anyone got any ideas if this is true and is there any way to fix it or shall i just sell it and get a more reliable tmaxx 3.3 ???
please help!!!

For one...you're telling me you paid approx 311 us dollars to replace a gear box?!?!?!? Thats more than half the price of a brand new genesis. A brand new gear box costs about 7 dollars.....Also from what I have seen from other friends the Tmaxx isn't as reliable...

The cen trucks are considered to be very durable..Something else must be causing your problem. Here is the whole tranny assemelbed ready to drop in for 67 us dollars or about 34 pounds.....no where near 200 http://cgi.ebay.com/CEN-GENESIS-NEM-...2em118Q2el1247
