What is a good Temp gun?
Hey guys! I was just wondering what is a good temp gun? the reason I ask is because I have a Pro Exotic temp gun with infrared light and I wish to know how much I can depend on this temp gun my self or which is a good one that I can purchase. Thanks in advance

You get what you pay for. I find the cheap pocket ones are well cheap and vary in temperature readings. Some of those Duratrax flashpoints read high, some low, heck to be honest they are all over the board when it comes to quality.
Pro-Exotics offers a step up unit that seems to work well. I'd say expect to spend closer to $40-$60 for something with good readings that are close to a very high dollar temp gun.
Also you'll learn to tune by sounds/performance more and I use temp as just a verification, not a tuning method.
