Updates?...Here's an update. Remember I said my pick up got stolen and I got it back. They mest up the column but it would fire up using a screw driver. We'll here I ditch early from work so I could drop of my exhaust and motr mount to the welder to get done up and the darn thang don't start now. I'm steamin. Had to take a break today but I did order up some more stuff. Bearings, servo horn, and some other little goodies.

Meanwhile I'm coming up with the next project. I have a RC4WD alloy straight axle laying around that really needs to have a truck on top of it. Just priced up some front a-arms. Will order a Slash body and build up a PRO-2 or PRO-lite to go with Hard-Corr. Will also need tranny and I have everything else I will need just laying around. Got a HPI .28
This one won't take as long because it won't have too much detail. Want to keep it light. So what ya think?

I'm a lier. It's a .25 out of my old Savage SS.

I'm going to start a Build Thread in Nitro Statium Trucks section. I'll take some pics of what I got...list some plans....and open it up for suggestions.

Look for "PROJECT SLAUGHTER"

HARD-CORR gets some new shoes. These are HPI GT2's on Savage black chrome 6-spokes. This rubber looks alot better in person than it does pictured on TowerH. HARD-CORR is torn down for some rivitions so this is the best pics I can give ya now. Also pictured are my old savages that I was using.

I've been enjoying watching this build allot. I wasnt to crazy about your tire choice but it looks great. Just wondering whats next on your list of things to do.

I wasn't really crazy about this tire at first either. I chose it because it looks like it will do well in dirts as well as tarmac. Since I'll be braking in on tarmac I figured it will work. Plus I'm hoping that rib down the center line will help fight ballooning which I find inoying. But like I said....after I held them I liked them alot better. But don't worry. I'll be picking up more tires in the near future.

Next on the list......customize the Savage steering to allow for a steering dampener. Drill and tap holes to mount engines. Build brackets to bolt tranny to plate. When tranny is in I can order my custome dogbones from RCALLOYS.COM . Then figure out my Throttle set-up and I should be ready for brake-in.

I've been slowing down a bit and I appoligize to everyone watching , but my garage is hot right now. It's 102' outside.....and that's cool compaired to what it's been.

That will teach you to live in the CA desert Looking good so far Mojave [:-]

? You going to make one solid mount that supports both engines?

I've seen how some of the twins are mounted and thought it would be better to have up and down adjusters as well as side to side. Would be pretty precise and not that hard to do

Freakin sweet!!! Im really lovin' the engine mount, and the rockers on the back. When its all built, and its proven tough, you should strip it all down and get it anodized/powder coated.

You may not like the heat in California, but just consider yourself lucky you don't have to deal with snow, and -25 degree celcius weather. Us Canadians only get 5-8 months that we can actually go out and play with our toys.
