If youre going to race the losi would be better out of the box because the stock revo needs some work to make it a racer although it can be a very good racer.

The platinum revo otoh....

It depends if you want to race in the MT class or truggy class.

Huh? They're both MT's.

I would say Muggy

Edit: I just looked and the Muggy does seem to be a cross between a truggy and a MT, although Losi calls it a MT.

Traxxas new platinum has a more TRUGGY style set-up now with the tire/wheel package, and alot of upgrades. If you change the wheels on the MUGGY, to the smaller set its brother the LOSI 8T runs, it will be the same concept and will handle much better on a track! If you are going to hit the track, the platinum would be a better choice. If you are going to get the standard REVO3.3, than the MUGGY would be my choice over that...For more versatility,I personally would save a little longer and get either 8T or PLATINUM!!

The Muggy is a Truggy, not a MT. The only thing that really makes it look like a MT is having those LST size shocks and suspension.

I understand why you consider it a truggy, but I consider it a monster truck, and Losi markets it as a monster truck.
